Can't Play When School Is Out of Session

Okay so ever since schools have been out of session for the holidays it's like I can't get a single regular game without people who act like they are 12 years old. I then have to either cancel the game and suffer a time penalty and then get another of the same exact team. I could cancel the game again but then I would get b*tched at by leaverbuster and get 10-15 minute penalty.

This is ridiculous. This community can be such trash sometimes and it's such a shame since there are some really amazing people who play this game.

its sad but honestly what can you do? just do what most people do during this time and take a break, its going to get worse during the summer time for this same exact reason!

honestly I don't see how this community is anymore toxic then other games. you're just stuck with the same ashats for longer

just play it out and try to have fun, you can't have your time wasted, you're playing a video game.

What level are you? I suspect the problem gets better the more you climb. I really don't see that many people being childish in my games.

Also consider how you factor into things like this. Is Placentas the most mature username you could muster? I'm not bashing the pick or anything, and call yourself whatever you want, but I can't help but wonder if it's indicative of your own behavior.

OH, that would be the problem. You're playing blind pick.

IMO blind and normal draft are the most cancerous queues. I play teambuilder almost exclusively and rarely have problems. Every time I hear about people having tons of afk's and toxic players it's in normal draft and blind pick.

Blind is basically for people who are too lazy to wait for the roles they want, so they just jump in and instalock or bitch when they can't have their way.

Filling in team builder is easy. Look and see which role is in greatest demand. Pick that role and jump teams until you find a new one. You usually don't even have to jump teams, because TB will prioritize fuller teams. Sure, you'll almost always be playing support (sometimes jungle, sometimes adc), but IMO it's better than dealing with blind or normal draft.
