So it's pretty much confirmed that Elementalist Lux will be the new Ultimate Skin. After the Goddess that is DJ Sona, Riot really needs to up their game to really wow the community.

I think it's far too simple to suggest that this skin will merely be a skin where Lux gets different elements for each attack. That's more like a 1850 skin than an Ultimate Skin. Following the theme of previous Ultimate Skins, I believe this new skin will be several skins in one; I am guessing that there will be a transformation for Earth, Air, Fire & Water. Possibly a 5th where Lux really takes charge of her control over the element of light - think really advanced looking Arclight skin. Or perhaps a dark element transformation a la Void.

But another big thing about this skin that I predict is that the voice over is going to be massive, possibly the biggest voice over for any skin or champion yet. A voice over for DJ Sona was obviously not necessary, but a common theme for new high tier skins are the great voice overs. Recently Star Guardian Jinx was released with the most amount of new interactions and lines, so I can see this new Lux skin having even more!

As a Lux main, I am beyond hyped for this skin!

If her laugh doesn't haunt the darkest corners of my dreams and she doesn't yell "Finales Funkeln", then I will be disappointed.

I agree I think she's going to have multiple forms. Probably one for each element (Water, Earth, Fire and Air). Would be cool if each had a unique homeguard animation. Air would have her riding on a ball of wind (Air Scooter from Avatar), Water would have her surfing, Earth would be like Taliyah's passive and Fire would have her flying using using the fire as propulsion.

Obviously she's going to be a combination of all the elements. You get the elements: Taliyah (Earth), Annie (Fire), Janna (Wind), Nami (Water), Ahri (Heart) & Boom!

You get Elemental Lux.

PROJECT Ashe and Star Guardian Jinx have really got me hyped for this Ultimate skin! Fellow Lux main here <3 this will be the skin I'll pay full price for! The quality of those two legendary skins were already fricking AMAZING. I can't wait to see what Rito does with Lux!!

I actually suspect map (skin) altering effects for Elementalist Lux. It isn't something heavily explored in league, would be really good practice for them on actual full map skinning in the future (something Riot has expressed interest in, although never really acted on after updating SR), that would probably be optionally enabled for all players in the game, ah-la DJ Sona's music for her allies.

The main thing I'm predicting with such a skin is that similarly to how DJ Sona can transform on the fly to different songs, Lux can transform on the fly to embody the different elements, so she can switch to earth, fire, air or water on the fly too which transforms her abilities. I dunno how her ult will look if it's earth based, but I differ to Riot's creative minds on that one, and of course they could just go the easy route of combining the elements for the ult, but even DJ Sona's ult differs depending on the form, so I dunno.

I hope she can: A: Change her elements at will. Using Ctrl 5/7/8/9, etc. Or B: Change her elements when she hits certain levels. AND I hope she has some sort of SFX aura around her at all times that change with her element choice.

Like Ctrl 6 would rotate between Earth, Wind, Water, Fire

I was thinking it is supposed to SURPASS the last Ultimate Skin, namely DJ Sona. I think I've read some Rioter state that in a discussion. So, if DJ Sona was able to change the in-game sound for everyone (it was an option, but not a necessity for you to listen to it) what if Elementalist Lux (please, please, be real! We have like 99% certainty, but till it's oficially announced I'm not gonna get my hopes up...) could change whole Summoner's Rift? Like, you can choose fire, and whole map becomes fire-themed, air, and SR becomes blue, some wind creatures fly around and stuff, etc. That would be super awesome and fitting for the next Ultimate. Naturally, you could turn the option on/off, just like you can choose if you wanna listen to DJ Sona's music.

Or she could affect the map in some other way. Maybe leave marks when she used her spells, like Taliyah does with her Q, but, obviously, not affecting gameplay in any way (I mean, we know she can't just create walls and stuff, but maybe some kind of a lake in the mid lane when you play water version of the skin?)

I can't quote the source, but I dimly remember someone from Riot mentioning developing a map-changing Ultimate Skin in the future.

I used water, air, fire and ground for elements here, but it could also be chinese elements, or light/darkness stuff. Either way, changing map would be such an awesome opportunity.

I just feel changing forms was used already so many times. Changing spells and appearance would just feel like having 4 different skins. And let's get real - neither DJ Sona, Spirit Guard Udyr, nor Pulsefire Ezreal are just few skins in one, for you to choose freely during game. The changes are explained in their kits and characters (also, more then just a "skin" changes in Sona's case). It would be disappointing if Riot just made 4 skins, merged it into one and sell it for lots of money, naming it "Ultimate".

Am otherwise too hyped for this next ultimate skin to actually having much to say about it.
