I wouldnt worry too much. With stuff like this they always do it in batches and with the amount of accounts they need to give it to, there is no way they'll get it to everyone in a day. Its usually within the week till they get around to everyone. And i assume if you dont get and feel like you should have gotten it you can always contact support!

Damorion2156 votesI actually wonder how many people will receive this. Honestly, I see it more as an insult than a gift. With the way the report and ban systems work as well as past posts by Lyte or the Social Behavior team, I've felt that positivity from this game has been forced onto players. Better yet, retaliation of any kind against toxic players ends up getting innocent players punished instead. Grant it, there is a limit of what should be said (i.e. Dunkey went too far, then again he's already toxic) and what can be done. My point is that how can players expect to be sportsman-like when their feet are being dragged through a minefield (toxicity)?
I honestly don't care if I get the icon or not (because I doubt I'll use it often), but having Riot surprise us with this "gift" feels more insulting than rewarding. Sorry for being a negative nancy here and raining down on everyone's parade, but it really bugs me how a company with such flawed systems aimed at dealing with toxicity tries to force players to be positive and anyone who managed to put on a brave face and not wince at the shit thrown at them by toxic players get a little icon.
Other than that, congrats to those who got this icon and managed to put up with the toxicity. Either you're a brave soul or you have friends. I, on the other hand, will continue to leave games where my team refuses to cooperate, because I am not a tool and I refuse to be helpless.
Ya Boı2 votesSomehow I agree with some of your points. There was this one game I had a top olaf feeding the enemy team and talkng shit while refuse to listen. Bot lane lost but at least tried to help. I was a jungle amumu. With help of mid teemo we finally made a come back and won. (mostly me and teemo carried, support, adc helped) However, after the game, I was reported toxic for no fking reason! Some toxic players just random reports while doing dogshits to the game, but they got no effective punishments, while some innnocent players trying to enjoy the game just got reported, wrong punishments. Another thing is that leaver buster thing, sure, it does punish afks and make them queue longer, but they dont care how long it takes and just keep trolling anyways. Instead, some players that had unexpected emergencies receive that punishment and the system isnt even gonna care if you positive during the game or not. I felt it should be upgraded so that it can check the ingame behavior and determine if that one afk is truely intentional afk troll

If toxicity breeds toxicity, there's no reason for positivity to not breeds positivity. Make other people feel good and they will do good deed too. It's a game, the most important thing is to have fun after all.
Rueian2 votesthe idea is if you are positive you do so because its the right thing, rewarding that with something visible is just a 'hey look i'm better than you' kind of tag, much like the honor pins. It doesn't breed positiivity, it just further isolates a section of the player base who is treated as subhuman, and the scope and variety of players deemed 'toxic' and 'negative' is actually much larger than that of the positive counterparts.

That isn't 'positive' that isn't 'understanding' You treat people who have actual issues the same as the person who specifically played the game to ruin the other players experience. If people were an actual positive force in the community, they'd actually help, not 'mute and move on' and assume that they are 'just another bad person'

I'm not a therapist, I came here to play the game, not deal with someone's mental illnesses, so yes they will get the same treatment as the baddies. Having my main account suspended for the entirety of URF 2015 was already painful enough. I've been clean since then but gotta kick salt in the wound I guess and remind me of my past mistakes.

Only Play Darius1 votesWow, thank you so much for informing me. I had quit ranked months ago when I heard that I was ineligible for ranked rewards, and I never heard about them changing the policy. Damn, so much time lost. Not sure if I have enough time to get to gold before the season ends lol, but at least I know that at least I might potentially get rewarded for getting back into ranked so putting up with all the stress and trolls will at least be worth it if I choose to.
