How accurate is whatismymmr.com?

I'm self aware enough to know I'm pretty good, and I've been getting masters+ in normal games for a while now sporadically, but I can't bring myself to believe that I'm in the top %1 for NA normal mmr. Are there just that few people with high mmr? Is it because masters+ don't normally play normals? How accurate is whatismymmr.com?
