Sassmast3r1 votesNah, tried it in a 1v1 vs. my friend w/ Lissandra, farmed way better than him, still got my ass destroyed. Literally impossible to beat that champion (at least for me) and way too nervewracking to ever put myself through again. He is the sole reason that I stopped playing midlane; couldn't win against him and my teammates blamed ME for the loss when there's nothing I can do against the literal incarnation of bullshit.
Wheatloaf1 votesYou have to get really good at controlling space (which all 3 of those mid champs are very good at), sidestepping, and consistently fucking over the same person every fight. 'Cause your team sure as hell isn't gonna try very hard to avoid him. He's a massive pain in the butt, but with enough dedication, he's workable. I can totally understand just not wanting to deal with him head-on, though. (Of course, I dislike the cringe-worthy ones that repeatedly dash under your turret more than the competent ones)

Wheatloaf1 votesYasuo's weakness isn't really downtime on his abilities, like most other champions. His weakness is that if he isn't doing something, he's losing. Other champs, especially mages, can make huge gains by using spells as little as possible. Yasuo has very short cooldowns on his main abilities, and no resource cost, so he doesn't stand to gain anything by not using them. So, you just need to limit how he can use them. Which is why the above person's suggested Malzahar works so well; Yasuo can't do shit to that post-6. This sort of zoning skill can help against more than just Yasuo, and it's a large portion of what Orianna and Cass can accomplish, so I'd definitely suggest practicing it. Viktor, Ziggs, and Azir are all also extremely good at zone control, so if it turns out the style suits you, you might want to consider them as well. Sorry for the long-ish post, I felt I owed you some more serious advice, given you seem to be pretty up to improving yourself.

I honestly don't use Malz at all and don't plan on using him that frequently in the future either, so it helps immensely that you gave me so many champions to try out and utilize proper zoning with! HadesBlades2 votesMan cassio, and ori do well against yas if you can 1 get the ball behind yas, and 2 cassio poison goes through his wall :) plus even if he wind walls your E it still resets if he is hit with your poison
