Heroes of the Storm has been out for 4 months.
Already has a near flawless replay system.

It's worth pointing out that Blizzard isn't new to replay systems. StarCraft 1 had one, so they've got at least 17 years of experience on the subject. In contrast, Riot Games is 9 years old.
They also built it with the replay system already in mind. With League, it wasn't considered anywhere near that early.
because blizzard invented the concept of replays or?

I didn't say that. I'm simply pointing out that Riot didn't consider replays when building their game client.
Blizzard, on the other hand, built their client with the inclusion of replays assumed as a release feature.
It's... pretty different situations, is what I'm saying. That's all.
Riots client is built on, Adobe Air if I remember right. Something not intentionally built for replays and such. Already stressing what they're doing. J/s
