Hello Wukong Mains, Or aspiring Kongs.

I main Wukong, i just simply love the way hes kit works. rather hes viable or not does not concern me because of my love for playing him. I would like to become very good on Wukong i am currently ranked Silver 3 and peaked at 1 promo game away from Gold. With plans on getting to gold before the seasons end, i have decided to seek the help of fellow Monkey mains.

Do you guys have any advanced tips and tricks you guys found that helped you win more games? What items do you guys prefer to build, and why? What does your general gameplay plan look like, farm heavy?, kill hungry, try and roam, what does your guys's games on Wukong look like? :) What role do you prefer to play him in?, i know hes viable in multiple of roles lol. To the wukong mains of the world , I need your help. The world needs your help. ** We Must Unite.**

I am adc main but if i'mnot adc I'm playign wukong

I pref to jungle with him because I'm so foreign to top lane meta.

when I go for an engage I try to come from the side or from behind, and I think about if I'll need to stealth to engage or not because it's really good to save it as an escape sometimes, or a tool to drop their aggro and wait for a reingage on one of their squishies

if it's meaningful for me to keep ulting I do, but I remember that if I'm in trouble I could R-W to stealth cancel ult, or R-E to dash to someone who's getting away.

I have trouble with thresh, their flay if they know I'm coming will cancel my engage.

in the jungle I always build stalker's warrior into black cleaver, and top I usually build a small item before black cleaver (brutalizer, Tiamat, Merc treads or ninja tabi) tiamat is really good for damage and wave clear. sometimes I build it when jgling, but usually there's not time for it.

I usually build randuins and banshee's veil for defensive items. randuin's active can be used while ulting, it can also be used to escape with, or as a second engage when I don't have ult, already used it, or am trying to save it.

while I am pretty good at being a carry with wu kong, if I identify that another ally is also strong I will usually try to play in ways to accentuate them. for example, I had a good jinx with me today, and I played used ult to save her quite a few times because they had a yasuo, I'd stay to the side so if she got knocked up I could dash in with e and ult yas, and that really made a difference.

something I'll do is, if I'm too low to fight, I'll hang back far enough away that if someone is being chased I can use my damage to help them and w to stay safe. sometimes if I know I'm low, I will bait someone's aggro onto me just to W away, buying time for my ally to dish out free damage on the enemy.

it's good to E-auto or auto-q. Q reduces damage so if you feel comfortable e-auto-q-r that's the best way to maximize your burst. if you time it right you can get in tiamat active during the e dash right before you arrive, or right after Q before ulting (can't during ult) but think about your target, if they have a way to dash from you you will need to just e-r if you need to cantch them, or possibly not r at all and force them to run.

wu can chase people down pretty effectively, but I will prioritize fighting with my allies over disregarding them. if an enemy is fleeing the battle, and the battle is still going on, and I still have health and mana, then my priority is the battle not the fleeing enemy. but if the battle is in "disengage mode" that's when I will chase someone, or perhaps switch targets to a turret or dragon.

You're going to have to share your tips and tricks with your fellow Wukong mains.

I build him Glass Cannon Top, similar to Allorim though I will often opt for Black Cleaver over Ghostblade for durability and teamfight effectiveness. The job is to be a high burst fighter for your team, aiming for the squishy ADCs and APCs. You can't really kill tanks with the build.
