PSA: Before you bash someone for their off-meta pick

Let them prove themselves before you flame them, at the very least (Idyllically, don't flame them at all, but that's just like saying "Hey we should cure cancer") For example: My brother just got out of a game as Urgot jungle. Silly idea, and he was bound to feed, right? Well, an Urgot jungle would have fed, but he played Urgod jungle, went 23/8/15, and got a pentakill. Need proof? http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2024564877/212501274?tab=overview

Just please, let them atleast show off what they can do before you shout at them for their pick

I recently played ad bard mid and suprisingly it works. Luckily my team didn't flame me but I can see others easily doing it

I actually LOVE when people break the meta, It proves that they want to find new ways to play the game, I remember when I had an Illaoi supp and we DESTROYED xD

I would love to break the meta myself (e.g. Sona mid, Ahri support, Janna mid) but I'm always afraid that I'm gonna get bashed for it, I know you can't get reported for it, but I can't take the flaming hahaa, but that's why I NEVER bash people for breaking the meta because I've seen it work even in the most unlikely of times :D

I think there is always some sort of apprehension necessary for any team that has an off-meta pick in their team comp. Straight up flaming is an extreme version of that and is definitely no okay, but a team should definitely be supportive of their teammate's off-meta pick, even if they don't agree with it.

Then there are the crazy people that are excited to see others go these weird, off-meta picks. Last season I played quite a bit with some off-meta champions in the jungle. On my game of jungle Viktor, I had a teammate in the Teambuilder lobby that said he really wanted to see how it worked, while on my game of jungle Lux my team's captain immediately termed me "the jungle Lux god" after I had been rejected from around 3-4 teams for my pick.

My view on any weird pick is I honestly don't mind as long as it makes sense. Like don't play AP Riven or Zed, that's just stupid. I have plenty of weird supports that I keep as counterpicks to specific lanes. People always give me grief until they see that it wasn't just BS. Just wish people would be more open-minded toward different picks, how do they think the "new OPs" get found anyway?
