Evolution of your main

So in curious how everyone else has evolved in picking their mains over the years. For instance:

End of season 2 into 3 I played exclusively varus.
Then I picked up nocturn and played jungle.
Rammus then became my favorite champ. Along with spirit guard udyr when it came out.
I then turned to lux as a favorite because I could support or go mid. 5 going into season 5 Diana became my favorite champ because of her 1 shot ganks
At the end of season 5 I started playing ezreal and found him to be one of the funniest champs.
So for all of season 6 I played Diana varus and ezreal. 8, how about you guys

First started the game during end of season 2/preseaosn of season 3 and played everyone. Picked up katarina before season 3 started. mained her since. :P had a time this season or so were i played a lot of different champions but always come back to just kat in the end.

I started in Season 3 and mained Veigar. I left the game after a week, then came back months later. I still mained Veigar. I left again after a week, and came back mid-season 4. I still mained Veigar. I left again after a week, and came back at the end of season 4. I still mained Veigar. I left again after a week, and came back mid-season 5, and I've stuck with the game since. I still main Veigar.

Veigar is the reason I play League. I will never replace him as my main.

I'm not a one-trick-pony. I do have secondary champions to fall back on. Rumble MonkeyKing

i think it was like annie -> lux -> ahri -> nidalee -> ahri

shyvana was my second main in the both ahri periods

Ashe -> Karma (mid) -> Lux (Support then Mid) -> Ahri -> Shyvana / Vi / SIon / Eveylnn (Jungle during Ekko's release) -> Jinx -> Ahri -> Taliyah -> Ahri

There have been times where I wanted to try to main a new champ, but I haven't really stuck with them. Usually would go back to Ahri because she has just so many different ways to play one match. As well, it's hard to try someone for the first time when you're up against people who have played their champ at least a hundred games.

Season 4 I started with Ahri (the first champion my friend taught me how to play) Someway through the season I started maining Morgana Towards the end of season 4 and start of Season 5 I picked up Quinn (mind you I played a lot of Twisted Treeline with my buddies, before the vision trinket was added, she was a useful asset to keep my jungler safe) Later on I decided, being a mid main is stupid (since my friend was a mid main, and also a lot of people main mid, I still like mid though and play it now and then) Well this meaning I 100% embraced my support, it was a lot of Sona , Morgana , Lulu .... I always wanted to learn and get good with Nami .. Because the first time I ever played league was on her release, she was beautiful, and I wanted to try her, but being first time to league and it was a new champion I didn't have that option. But since I started playing her, shes been my main since. Even if i don't play her as much anymore, I will never let another champion take her nr.1 spot. But through Season 5 to 6 (up until now) I never really found a "new main"... I always had a mix of champions I just really ended up enjoying a lot. I liked to play Yasuo. (Downvotes incoming)

Then I played Hec while Yasuo was getting nerfed and never got back into Yas.

I started to suck at Hec and then just played whatever champ i had that countered my lane opponent (or opposite jg).

After patch 6.22, or the assassin rework, i saved up enough IP to get Talon, who looked cool. I guess he's been my main ever since.

I've only been playing since the end of season 5, so I didn't have a main per season or anything like that, but I did have a few mains.

My ranked matches are when I played whatever champ was good for that matchup is if you want to be nosy and check my match history.
