pro tip: If you're the adc, and they miss 2 in a row at any time, just last hit by urself and ignore his relic shield. He's going to make u miss like all the cannons

Even as Braum or Leona, I have a harder time getting the secure on the canon if my ADC keeps attacking it when there are other low minions around it. Plus how is a Thresh player going to learn how to do it if you never gave them the chance to be bad? That's like saying don't ever play the game if you're not going to know all the mechanics when you play the tutorial.

It's ranked games. I expect them to buy and play what they know/choose. And I purposely let them get the. They ping the cannon, i stop attacking it. They try to hit it, they fail. So yeah....
