When I watch them play I'm like, " Wow Dyrus is 1 vs 9ing again." This meta is like lets f*** over the top layer, but TSM does that to their own teammate.

You know, I used to defend him fervently, but he's been slipping up on some major plays recently. I think it'd help if he stopped playing Lulu and went for something tanky ( Maokai , for example).

Well, it depends! You can use them at point-blank, in which case yeah, they are very effective. However, sometimes you need the long-range engage for gapclosing and proper initiation. Those type of Sion ults tend to miss more. Dyrus used the latter method this game primarily, so it makes sense that he missed directly hitting champs.
