magikarpusedfly spent $340 in order to obtain a single skin! what is this bull crap? he spent $340, at a minimum wage job, $340 is 47 hours worth of work, without including the tax that would be on that income. to work over the 40 hour work week just to afford a single league skin is ridiculous! Why is it so hard to get gemstones. Their drop rate is so low, its not worth saving gem stones if you are a free to play player, and depending on your luck, its not even worth it if you pay up the ass. maybe you could make it atleast somewhat fair and guarantee a gemstone in each 1950 RP bundle of boxes. im not sure of the exact number but 1950 RP is approx $15, so to get 10 gemstones, you would need to work about 20 hours at minimum wage, or 10 ours at the likely future minimum wage. Which really isnt all that bad depending on your personal financial situation.

Actually, this is a good idea for business too. people are hearing about how hard it is to get gemstones even when you pay to win that they just wont, but if you give people a guarantee that in $150 they will have the gemstones they wanted, (plus the champion and skin shards) they might be much more willing to drop the cash

That's pretty much the whole point of the hextech system. It's a gamble. Some people will spend a lot of money to get something they want, while others will get lucky and not have to spend anything.

Besides, Riot has already announced that they will be introducing a way to directly purchase gemstones so that the hextech exclusive skins won't be as difficult to get.
