Don't always judge a person from one mean game comment.

So I was playing me some Jhin with my friend. We'd been up awhile and we kinda fed. We tried not to and did our best to come back (we sorta did) with the help of our shyv jungle. She ganked for us many times, usually resulting in on of our deaths and her getting a kill or two (she got really fed). Around the 15 minute mark, I was 0/4/3 and she started talking about how bot was doing so bad we'd probably lose. I apologized, as did my 0/4/3 friend who was Karma support. As the game went by, she was basically ordering the team around with pings and criticizing us with things like "now bot needs to go back and not feed." or "this fiora is literally dead if she stays down bot doing nothing." Some was constructive, most was a bit harsh.

Around the 25 min mark, I was getting kills and cs and catching up bc Shyv was engaging amazingly and ravaging them while I did Jhin things. Our Annie mid was helping a ton too. Wherever I went, Shyv was just kinda there to help. She was an overall amazing jungler, only goofing once when she mis-smote baron (we aced them for that). Our uber behind team looked like we had lost after our fiora top died in a split push, and Shyv got mad. She was saying things like "Fiora you literally cost us the game." "This Fiora shouldn't play the game if she can't learn to group." and "If Fiora hadn't been bad and chased, we'd have won."

So at this point, I had to be a bit cheeky (I was playing Jhin, in my defense. His sass is contagious) so I hit her with "There are a lot of flavors in this world, Shyvana. Please don't choose salty." I thought she'd be mad, but she actually apologized. Told us she'd had a rough day, and started being more constructive (her comments were all usually just good tips said harshly. Most would've been good advice if not for the mean parts). By the end of the game, she was saying more positive things like "gj Karma. That's that good ult." and "Nice one guys, can't believe we turned this around like that." At the end of this long match, she told us all gg and apologized again for being tilted earlier, so none of us reported her and honor was had for all.

The moral of my story: Flaming is awful, but sometimes people are just having a bad day. Next time you have a flamer, ask them to chill and calm down. I didn't, so I really wasn't helping too much, but if I had done that when she started getting mad, the whole game would've been more fun instead of just the end. So yea, report flamers who flame all the way through a game, but try to give them a chance if they haven't been doing it too long and just talk to them. Not all will respond so positively, but I know a lot of people who would. Most of my friends get mad and flame in game without even considering anyone else until someone tells them to chill. Not all the flamers are bad people. Some just need a bit of a wake-up call.

If you made it through all that, enjoy these poros as your reward: summoner 31 summoner 31 summoner 31 summoner 31 summoner 31 summoner 31 summoner 30 summoner 31 summoner 31 summoner 31 summoner 31 summoner 31 summoner 31
