I've played a multitude of games of ARAM, and won a fair portion of them, but I still haven't received a key. I played one Summoner's Rift game and received one though, and I'm just wondering, are keys also Summoner's Rift exclusive?
Minarde1 votesOfficially, key frags are available from any matchmade mode. The chat restriction support article further specifies that matchmade games are ranked, normal, and Co-op games.
No one knows the drop rate for key frags though, and there's some speculation that Riot's already been adjusting the drop rate. As such, it's been hard to confirm.
The Taco Kat1 votesAlright then, thank you for the response. I knew Riot had said that it was available on most gamemodes so I wasn't sure if there was a bug or if it had just been a significantly lower drop rate.
Minarde1 votesHonestly, your guess is as good as mine. I'm currently 0/12 from ARAM wins.

rtbf2624901 votesAll this has been is a ploy for new players. They are giving out a free champion to new players.
