Let's talk about Trist and her W

No no this is not a nerf post or a qq post iv'e simply noticed that trists W has some just silly problems with it.

For starters, you can't jump Veigars stun even though the animation CLEARLY goes higher than said wall. You just hit a magical wall above it and still get stunned. (LOGIC)

Another problem is even when you jump, if someone lands say, an ahri charm where you were when you jumped, EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE LITERALLY IN THE AIR 20 feet above the charm, and even to the side of it, it still hits your OLD hit box. Regardless of where your model is at the time.

This kind of falls into the whole Lee Sin getting blinded by Teemo thing, but come on, at least make it where Trist can jump out of Veigars stun, the animation clearly makes her jump higher than the stun, so there for she is not hitting it. Same thing applies to Zac, and various other champs that have a gap closing jump of some sort like Khaz.

I understand her W does not make her immune, that's not the point of this post. The point of the post is to bring attention to the animation and hit box of her W. IF she is already in the air, you shouldn't be able to use a skillshot on where she jumped from to stop her while shes literally flying through the air. I mean** if you hit her right before she jumps that's fine, and understandable**. But you should not be able to hit her when shes flying through the air by shooting something where she jumped from.

There is just some bad technicalities with her W that don't make any sense, and defy logic. Just like how Teemo can blind an already blind man.

So to sum it up

  1. Trist should be able to jump out of Veigars stun, the animation is higher than his stun, and yet still gets stunned by a magical invisible barrier above it.
  2. Trist's Jump needs to be refined a bit so people can't just shoot where she jumped from to hit her even though shes mid air and no where near that skillshot. This means her hitbox stays where she jumped from until she lands and starts walking, and that's just fucking silly. Her hitbox needs to move with her, not wait until she hits the ground, it's just stupid to be stunned by something you literally didn't get hit by AT ALL, because they shot where you jumped from, so even though your physical model avoided said snare, that snare hit your invisible hit box that stayed behind, so you are snared when you touch the ground again even though you didn't get hit.

Again, i understand her W does not make her immune, again, not the point, the point is to fix her jump hitbox, and some minor issues like not being able to jump Veigars stun. That simple, nothing more, nothing less.

There's actually no Z-axis in this game. It's basically 2-dimensional. Any abilities that look like they're going into the air are just flying in a straight line. Or, in the case of things like Ziggs ult, simply don't exist while not on the screen.

It's a dash.

It's the same reason flying champions still trigger Cait's traps. Or why Lee can be blinded. etc etc

Game balance takes priority.
