Friend List Clutter

This is my first post here, but I want to bring up a little annoyance I have. If you invite friends all willy nilly, you lose track of who's who, and you start to not know who to get rid of, because you never play with them anymore. Maybe a filter that tells you who've you've played with most recently.

Bump! I like this idea. Big problem on my old account (300 friends several different times). However, on my new account I have 0 cause I don't want that to happen and have yet to meet any players worth adding in my slow climb back to level 30!

What really needs to happen is to have it show when they last logged in. I have been playing since season 1 and I am sure there are tons of people on my friends list who don't even play the game anymore. But there is no easy way for me to track that.

Now if it said "friend name" last logged on over 365 days ago, I could go through and clean it out quickly. Steam's friend list does this very well.

bump this has been a pain for me for years. firstly, is there a particular reason the friends list maximum is so low?

adding info such as; -last the person was seen online -last the person played a game -total games you have played with them would greatly aid in being able to discern who to delete for us players that have accumulated the maximum number of friends.

A batch delete (checklist mode and then apply to delete all) along with this would be a godsend

While it doesn't address your idea, you can organize your friends list into groups (I have a handful made myself, including one titled "who are these people?").

I'd love to see a "last online" note for my offline friends so I can clear out some of them, but beyond that, I find the grouping option and private notes to be more than enough for me to keep track of the people I see online most commonly.
