I don't understand why Rito doesen't give out loss prevented when somebody afk's.

I can not see ONE reason why Riot should prevent this from happening. The system recognizes when somebody afk's, so it can't be hard, can it?

teams would start making a pact before the game - whoever is doing the worst at 30 minutes disconnects if we are losing.

or 'im in my promos. whoever disconnects gets a free skin'

it just wouldn't be a good idea.

Riot's line is that it would encourage people to be toxic to one player in hopes they might afk and forgive the team's loss. Pretty lousy really, even if it only forgave losses in which the player -never- connected, or never interacted with the map, that would remove a lot of heartache.

I sure hope you're also ready to take those win preventeds whenever there's an AFK on the other team then.

Does it really need to be explained to you that the loss would be forgiven for the REST of the team, and NOT the AFK?
