Reminder to make your mastery pages before you jump into a game!

If you haven't done so already, take some time before starting a game to take a look at the new masteries and to make a few mastery pages for champions you're interested in playing. It took me a bit to read all of the tooltips, so I just wanted to throw it out there that it's a clean slate with the mastery pages!

Replacing all 20 of my pages with the more limited selection was hard. I probably have some duplicate pages that I was trying to build into pages that had served different purposes before...

I've found that the best way for me to organize mastery pages was to be pretty generic. For the most part, I use:

  • Support (AP)
  • Support (Tank)
  • 30/0/0 for Teemo, Kayle, or anyone who can go full offensive masteries
  • 0/30/0 for when I want to go super tanky
  • AP (Uses mana)
  • AP (Manaless)
  • ADC
  • Top lane bruiser
  • Bruiser Jungle
  • Tanky Jungle
  • AP Jungle (Amumu and whatsuch)

And maybe the occasional individual/unique mastery pages for the champions I play VERY often like Heimerdinger and Malzahar :)

Don't forget ap supports without heal or shield (zilean kennen Annie) who still want bandit but don't want the other supports key stone mastery
