How do you win games like this one?

Like not to be a douche or anything, but people who probably have never played the game before or only played about 50 times should NOT be in ranked. Building as a support mid lane as Vel'Koz, building idk what on Cho jungle, thresh adc with shiv and basically being a team minion, or playing support and not dropping a single ward; if you're doing this you shouldn't really be playing ranked (unless you're skilled ofc), that is what normals is for regardless of the meta, etc. Again I don't mind if you do it and you're at that elo's level, but if you're playing like a level 20~fresh 30 you should not be trying crap like that.

Any tips other than remaining focused, how can I climb out of Silver into Gold?

Many of my higher elo buddies tell me to keep playing my most fav/skilled champion, but after games like this http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1717309753/206014383?tab=stats I don't see how that could work, or anything as a matter of fact. I felt like I was on my smurf account which is level 10 with level 8 teammates going against competent Silvers/Golds who actually want to play/hf/and win..

Should I wait another month to continue playing ranked or something? Cause man this matchmaking tho.

I cannot play Normals to even practice because the majority of time I will get level 30's who for some reason have only 50 wins and are playing against Golds/Plats. No its not because I play like a lvl 20 or something, more like whenever my group of friends play together (Silver/Golds) we always seem to get like level 20/30 (50 win) randoms and get matched against high Golds and Plats.
