Why are people like this guy allowed to play ranked?

It would be really nice if Riot made newcomers play a good 300+ games before entering ranked. It hurts devoted people that are actually trying to climb and improve their gameplay; especially when they have people like this guy (175 normal wins / 4 ranked wins) on their team. I doubt this guy is having fun dying a good 10+ times each game (having merely a 1 KDA in all of his games). Who wants to get owned by a Riven/Ahri who has a good 1000 ranked games? Not only does the newcomer get wrecked, but his team has to deal with a team feeding off the guy. This guy and the 10 game udyr on my team delivered by far the worst experience this season for me in ranked and hopefully this kind of stuff will clear up in Season 5. All of this is somewhat similar to the issue where new players play against smurfs.

The barrier for entry has always been too low, but Riot has always been terrible at dealing with their player base, hince the toxic nature of ranked.

My last game went around 3/25. I had 2 kills, the only other kill went to our adc when the enemy support dived behind 2 towers(Their supp got the kill, but died to the tower)

Im silver II in my main account, I do think I deserve to be matched with people that have played more than 200 games at least. In this case I got stuck with people who had apparently just reached level 30. People should not be getting killed by the jungle creeps in silver at all, that shit should be relegated to bronze.

Dont want to come off as a jerk or anything, but did you try helping him after game? So many people just don't know about runes/masteries. There is a lot of info that isn't widely known when you first play the game. I agree it is rough, but if everyone helps out we can have a better league...

Now that I sound like "Miss America" imma stop. xD

I agree that you should definitely be prepared before entering ranked, but since it is around his first time, you can't just say he doesn't belong in ranked. He will learn, it just takes time.
