I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

I won't be that guy who complains about not climbing, or that he is in ELO hell. Obviously I'm not playing well enough to climb, thats the fact. I'm in silver 4 and teetering back and forth at around 60 LP. I rewatch some of my games with replay.gg, but I honestly can't tell what I should do different. I understand vision, objectives, map awareness, etc, and I feel like (and have been complemented on) I have the mechanics.

I just honestly am not sure what I'm doing wrong. It's less frustration and more confusion. Maybe I just have to play enough and get enough experience for it to click, but I feel like I go through a mental checklist after every game when I'm sitting in after game screen to make sure I played right.

Did you try working the shaft?

Just kidding. Perhaps it's your objective prioritizing that needs work. Or your itemizations in certain matchups. I have not checked your history so I am just recommending generic stuff.

Your last ranked Gragas vs Jax. At minute 2:30 i noticed your first mistake. Jax E and u E into him instead of E away when he jumps on you. He stunned u and he got first blood. 2nd colossal mistake, you started building Rod of Ages into Abyssal with Sorc shoes. Why? You have Warwick, Tristana and Viktor as huge damage dealers. Your build HAD to be: item 3025 item 3110 item 3068 item 3143 item 3111 item 3742

Game before that vs Jhin, u flashed in for a kill with 12 minions there. Sure u got kill , but u died immediately, giving kill. So you gave away your life, flash and 2 minion waves, for a kill. Not worth at all. Of course as soon as u came back to lane u died as he had his flash, he was in base with more gold so he had better item and he started snowballing from there. For no reason at all, you could have easily farmed under your turret, but u were too greedy for a kill. And even tho u saw u started feeding, instead of building pure tank u went Rod of Ages again. No logic man. U had huge lead and u had won game, but at minute 31 u got caught and they got an ace, costing your entire team a game. At that moment u had item 3027 item 3089 . Those items make no sense. Why would u build Deathcap? Thats 4th or 5th item, not 2nd item. And even 4th or 5th u shouldnt build it on Gragas.

One thing is gragas isn't really that strong right now. That could be a factor, or might not be. also always work on csing when you're in lane. in a "perfect" game you would want about 8-10 cs per min. so in a 30 min game you want to try to get as close to 300 as possible. if you can reach that level, you will have a lot of gold. If you really want to climb you could try a stronger jungler or top laner. People might underestimate gragas, but at the same time, he isn't the best choice. If you really like him then keep playing him, but you may want to try someone else. Sometimes if you don't climb its because you aren't playing the strongest champion for that time.
