"Falsely" banned for third party applications?

So I've been seeing this a lot lately. "I was banned for no reason" or "My friend/sibling was banned for no reason." I'm really beginning to worry about my account. With the state of this game I've been thinking of quitting (for now at least) but I really like playing so I've been hesitant, but if I do stop I want it to be my choice, not because of a wrongful ban. With the amount of people complaining they can't all be lying can they? do we have a reason to fear being banned when we really haven't done anything wrong?

It's very rare for the system to falsely ban someone. It has happened, but not as often as those people want you to think.

Most banned players say they were falsely banned only for a Rioter to come in and show exactly why they were banned. Or they themselves showed their reform cards and those proved how toxic they were even though they didn't believe it was a just ban.

As for those banned for 3rd party applications, depending on they player they either knew they were using an illegal program but still used it anyways or bought the account which had been botted to level 30 thus banned OR let one of their friends/family use it and said person used an illegal program.

Keep in mind you can also be banned for account sharing as that's also against Riot's rules.
