I think this could be potentially a way to make money for you and also eliminate some of the frustration of elo "hell" for others. It would be nice if for either RP or IP you could allow a player to essentially reset his MMR/ELO and have to play his 10 provisional games again. This could help eliminate people thinking they don't belong in their division, etc.

They should really break each season up into 3-month quarters. The only reason this system works on Starcraft 2 (which is where they stole it from) is because you get new placement matches ever month.
Waiting 9 months for a new season, just to see the improvements you've already made since you got placed, is ridiculous if you ask me.
Brilliant, but Riot doesn't care about us, they think that it is possible to carry feeders every damn game. Nothing will happen about low elo unless some celebrity or someone high in value complains about it.

I'd like this. Maybe it'd bump me back to silver 3 where I started. I don't think I'm way up in golds or plats but I'm definitively way better than all the bronze 1's and below that I end up being paired up with. It sucks 'cause 1 can't carry all 5.
