Ashe+Statikk Shiv Question

So I have a quick question regarding Ashe's most recent (and awesome) update. I have managed to find a lot of sites showing the effects of her focus on Hurricane, and I tested it a bit to see how much IE's passive increases her damage, but I cannot seem to find any information regarding how her crit damage effects the %critical strike chance of Shiv.

As far as I can imagine, there can only really be 2 possibilites. First, the item works like normal, ignoring ashe's passive and basing the 200% damage solely on critical hit chance, or automatically scaling with her passive doing 100*(1.1+X) damage so long as the person ashe originally attacked had frost shot procced.

I'm thinking its going to be the second one, considering the first case requires you to score a critical hit originally, but I'm not sure. If anyone has a definite answer I would greatly appreciate it.
