Does the game become less fun, and more of a hassle to remain in the top ranks, once youve hit plat? like say plat - challenger I feel like the game would become less about just having fun and more about climbing. true or false?
It's not really that difficult to stay at your rank and it isn't really that difficult to hit or stay in Platinum if you belong there.
I played a significant portion of my games in Platinum essentially on auto-pilot, not really thinking about what I'm doing and just playing through instinct and habit.
While you can actively learn and improve your game, I generally play for fun and don't try to as much as I probably should. I generally just learn from experience and watching other (better) players than I am.
