PSA: Top Laners

Dear Top Laners with ignite instead of teleport:

Be there for teamfights at least. Don't bitch at the jungler if you lost lane with more kill pressure.

You realize there are champions that actually carry from top lane?

would be nice if you guys had wards for me to tele to.....

I'm mixed about this. People over generalize a lot. I've taken to grabbing tp more often in top lane bc I've been getting better at using it, but in certain match ups I'm taking something else bc it is WAY better. It sucks to not take TP vs tryn top lane, but if heimer doesn't take exhaust in that lane he is screwed unless he is significantly better as a player than the tryn is.

And yeah Riven and Darius can be good w/ tp, but if you're in a match up that's close, and you take ignite vs tp and the skill level is the same for both players than Riven and Darius can make use of ignite better than most champs can since they will snowball hard if they get ahead, and ignite can easily be what gets that started if the enemy has tp. Of course then the top lane w/ ignite needs to push that advantage and make it big, or TP will eventually be more useful.
