Down/Up Votes Make an Impact. Let the Person Know Why.

A recent post I saw someone make went along the lines of: "Is saying "srry guys I'm lagging" still something I can report for?"

A legitimate question that he wanted answers to. Instead his post is downvoted -5 and counting. Thankfully Deep Terror Nami stopped by to help him and explain (thank you for doing that btw if you see this).

Why do people do this? I understand if the post was "lagging should be a reportable and punishable offense" downvotes can happen. But when someone is just asking a legit question just comment, dont downvote. Everyone sees things differently, and just say your opinion instead of downvoting and leaving the poor guy wondering what he did wrong. I feel bad for some of the posts that are just downvoted with no comments explaining to the person why their post is being downvoted.

And now you got downvoted.......

The only time I downvote someone for asking a question is when it is a legitimately stupid question, or one that they should know (such as why something that was changed half a month ago isn't working)

the better question is: why do ppl care so much about a virtual number that they make a post? small dick? no other problems?
