Stop torturing your team for IP..

I am getting really sick of this idea that Calling for a SURRENDER vote should be a Banneable offence. I just got out of a 40 minute torture session. Enemy started snowballing when the team started running solo to chase kills individually instead of working as a team (meaning it was easy to pick them off one by one) By the end they had almost 3x the kills. they had 3x the dragons (0-3), and 3x the towers (2-6) But my team refuses to just admit defeat and find a new game...But there was a simple reason. They already admitted that they knew the match was lost. So why didnt they surrender? more IP.... Yes they force the team to fight on in a meaningless fight while we are getting snowballed (one of them wanted to report me for being afk for not being as "gung -ho" about running in to my death as the rest of them)...all for a possible extra 5-10 IP. and this is just as irritating as those people who will throw the "Its just a game, calm down" at you...then Immediately chew you out and demand everyone report you for not treating EVERY MATCH like its the LCS world finals uber-tiebreaker match!

Seriously Please take away the bonus for lengthy matches. Then people wont force thier teams into a 60 minute torture session for an additional 0.5% IP bonus under the threat of reports if they dont play like the survival of the universe depends on winning a match where the score is like 3 v 39 with the enemy team having 5 dragons and a baron. But again, if you look at the match and give up, they will report you for afk, even if you are not.

There has to be a limit. I am all for being optimistic, But I draw the line when people are unwilling to be realistic.

TL:DR: STOP treating surrendering like it should be an offence worthy of a permaban. and get rid of the IP bonus for lengthy matches so dillusional eternal optimists dont hold thier team hostage on a match thats clearly lost (even when they ADMIT they KNOW its lost) just for the bonus 10IP
