I really don like the toxicity of ranked games in bronze so i dont want climb that way i really just want to test my skills against better better people and ive had a high win rate in norms with me carrying most games. Ill deal with the toxicity if i have to but is there a way i dont have to(yes i know about the mute button but that wont stop the flamers in game actions and lobby chat)
Swiftstrike42 votesNormal MMR and Ranked MMR are separate, so what you play against in ranked has no real correlation of who you play against in normals.
Additionally, the restrictions are a bit more lax. E.G. As a high gold player is more likely to get matched with a lower silver player in a normal than in a ranked game.
I wouldn't take too much stock in normal games and the competition in them as a measure of personal skill. Most of the time when I play in my normal games I play in my worse roles to practice or try new builds and strategies. Sometimes I will do a game to warm up prior ranked. I can safely say if you play against someone who is significantly higher rank than you in a normal and you "own them" they probably aren't really trying or are playing a champion they don't normally play etc. I have played and beaten Diamond players in my normals, but they are playing a role they never play or a champion they never play or are trying some odd build. I don't put hardly any stock in it, just like if I get beat by a silver player in the mid lane I don't think much of it since I rarely play mid.

You hit the nail on the head.
I'm a gold 5 adc, have been for 2 years now, when i play normals im either practicing a role i don't know or im bad at, or trying out new build paths, I don't play normals and take it seriously so if a bronze player beats me in it oh well, and if i beat a diamond or 2 oh well. shrug
Zen Ineth1 votesNah, your normals MMR and ranked MMR are separate. Just play jungle (learn jungle as well), and pick someone with pickoff potential so you can get yourself fed, like Nocturne or Vi. Don't play champs who rely on teammates. In Bronze, the only one you can count on is yourself. With that, you can carry yourself out, no matter who's on your team.
dolphinosplash241 votesi do play jg i really like eve
Zen Ineth1 votesEve is not a good jungler for bronze. She still requires setup from teammates. Pick someone who can solo a carry easily. Nocturne, Vi, Master Yi, Graves, etc.
warpenguin5551 votesYes you can. In Normals i get matched with Gold-Diamond players alot due to me having no life. Made normals unplayable for me.
