What happen to all the AP Kogmaw Mid players?
Did they stop playing him mid because LCS tells them to?

Basically. Same reason people just stopped playing Xerath.
Most people don't understand WHY a champ is good sometimes, and just play them, then when they "fall out of the Meta" or more so "when pro players don't play them every week" they just move on to what they are playing every week, still having no clue WHY.
A squishy hypercarry that's immobile with no hard cc that requires a team to protect them in order to unlock their full potential... is a lot stronger in the LCS or at least premade team settings than it would be in solo queue.
