Gold 5 = Trash Elo

People play like they're satisfied with getting the end of season rewards. The mindset of: "It doesn't matter if I win or lose this game. If I end up reaching 0 LP I will just stop playing ranked so I can keep my end of season rewards."

It pisses me off.

It seems like I'm always matched against people of my skill level but the same is not for my teammates.

Last game I had an Ashe who died 1 minute into the game. She saw thresh and decided to keep vision of thresh (walking to and fro from thresh). Thresh of all people. Like you know there is a chance you will get hooked and there will be 4 other players on you yet you kept going back to keep vision of thresh. What a joke.

Then after the mishap our Janna says: "Wait what happened? I was afk." She was sitting in the tribush near gromp and could have easily died as well.

Gold 5 = elo hell. People don't have the drive or motivation to try and climb because they are guaranteed rewards.

I have gotten into gold 5 promos 3 times. Now I'm forever stuck in the mid 50-80 LP.

So message to all of those players who don't try in ranked: Go fck yourself and uninstall.

Agree 100% been booted from gold four times now. As far as I can tell most everyone assumes that they have done the best they can do (probably true) and after coming up from the cut-throat silver 1 the gameplay style change from vigilant to complacent will actually make you perform worse if you don't notice your team is only half-assing it. Next time I get there I'm going full retard.

As always, MMR is what matters. If your MMR is higher then you'll get placed with people not stuck at the bottom of G5.

Furthermore, I sincerely wish we didn't have these stupid bracketings. It makes for bizarrely unbalanced matchmaking. More people reside in silver5 than anywhere else- are they all the same caliber? No. Give us a numerical ranking to climb around the ladder with. The distribution will even out. The people in the bottom 5% of all League will cry, but they deserve it. The middle class needs to stop suffering at the expense of the subhumans.

ikr its funny when anyone at a 5 in their elo stop thinking it matters anymore because they are good xD honestly anyone who watches the pro scene should be d5 at least. That should be the rewards tier, but there are more noobs in gold/silver/bronze than anywhere else so they will cry about it because they dont get to have it when in reality they didnt earn anything at all and still think they do lmao. But you know people hate when you tell the truth because it was hard for them so it HAS to be hard to do and earned because THEY dont wanna feel like the hard work was nothing when in reality it was nothing sorry that average is hard ;_;
