The Tribunal is flawed and here's why
Before we start I want to say that I was a horrible flamer once, numerous chat restrictions and a 2 week ban later, I've decided flaming these people isn't worth it and quit doing it. But there's always situations that bring it back out, like this one.
Last game I got focused by an extremely fed Leblanc and I got pretty miffed, especially after the (french) Ziggs player started pointing out EVERYTHING I did wrong after he walked into a trap and I said "that was so obvious even I wouldn't have fallen for it." I mean this guy would go out of his way, he would literally let himself get killed to tell me "Lucian so pro" when I get killed by the 20something kills Leblanc for the god knows how many-th time. Muting the little rat didn't help, because he was very busy telling the enemy team to report me for feeding (coincidentially having nearly the same amount of deaths as I did), so I kept seeing their responses in /all chat.
So I was like 2/13, and I was pissed. And after the game I reported him for harrassment and told him to go die. Sat there for a few minutes pondering if another game to lift my spirits was a good idea before ultimately deciding "no" and exiting the client. I am now awaiting my 2 week ban or worse, because I told some idiot to go remove himself from the evolutionary pool after being harrassed by the same guy all game, he was muted for a good while, but from the rest of the people in-game I could tell he was still doing it.
Now I know this guy is going to go into his next game and do the same thing, and someone else is gonna get mad at him and his childish behaviour. And this is just going to continue, because this guy will not get punished, because he isn't doing the right thing wrong.
To make that statement less stupid, imagine this: In some weird reality, swearing is illegal. If you swear, you automatically get thrown in jail by like a "anti-swear bot" or whatever. This Ziggs is the guy that will drive in front of you at 30 in a 70 zone, he's the guy that puts the tack on your seat. He's the guy that goes out of his way to annoy you to the point of swearing at him. And then you lose, and he wins. Because he's not the one doing the illegal thing, you are. Sure, he caused it. But that's not illegal.
TL;DR: Tribunal needs to look at cause AND effect, instead of just effect.
