In serious need of help in improving ranked game

Now look, I could go off on a long rant about how its not my fault, how it's all my team mates, etc, etc. But I'm not gonna. Because thats a lie than can be easily brough to light in an instant.

And I know I suck. I suck hard. If I didn't, I doubt I'd be here.

When I play adc, I never seem to get off decent poke, or any poke for that matter, and when I do, I usually get shreckt later down the line.

When I play top... yeah, on second thought, lets not even go there. Thats a whole nother horror show.

Mid is... less horrific. Still do poorly. Even when I see it coming, I can never seem to get out of a gank properly.

Jungle is meh honestly. Not much to say about that. Not much to say about sup either.

That, and on the rare occasion that I do good and my team isn't, I can never carry. Not that that ever happens. At least not often enough to be of much importance.

So yeah, if anyone has any advice, that'd be beyond awesome. Mainly since I'm sick of sucking up a storm and getting flammed for it later. Thanks.

Range, Position, Damage. Knowing how the enemy laners function helps with knowing when its a good time to trade with them or retreat.

Range first: Knowing exactly how long their skills are, how often they can fire them off and the likely hook that they'll even hit you. Do they have a wind up time? Do they have an animation prior to being casted? Does your enemy always inch a bit closer to make sure you get hit by the tip? Does your enemy always fall back to 'line up the shot'? Learn the range of the abilities and an idea of how often they go off.

Position: Once you know the range you can focus more on the cooldowns of the enemy's abilities. Their Q is on cooldown for 4 seconds? Well smack them back after missing you. They're about to cs so they have money? Line up an attack to hit them and the minions. Zone them if you can, whatever is possible to keep them away from the minions and you.

Damage: If you both have about the same range or just going to get minions results in getting hurt, check to see. Is the damage worth it? Will you heal it off? Will you come out of a trade better off the them? Do they have pots? A healing ability? Etc.

I suggest just learning the range of things so you can know when to go in and out. I'm not really that high in the ranked system (I've been silver the 2 times I did rank) but these are things I've learned over time plus a ton of aram (for positioning since its pretty important in that small bridge). I could probably keep rambling off about what I've noticed regarding other players who play confidently but I think I'd just be talking in circles. Good luck man.

What about support? U mentioned that ADC, Mid, Top and Jungle doesnt go that well for you. Maybe last remaining role is for you?

Well, good to know I didn't waste time writing this. Thought for a second I wouldn't get any advice.
