Emh... how about to release (may be every 2nd patch) few unique summoner icons of champions just for achievement purpose. (You may start voting what icons people would like tonsee next patch. Not for free if thats important. 200 rp for vote ticket in store)

For example when you get 1m (for example) mastery points with your main then game will gift you summoner icon of this champion (can't be purchased in regular shop). I believe many people would appreciate that.

The idea of Champion based summoner icons has been bounced around a few times. I suspect Riots trying to have these icons be for special events (like the Twisted Fate/Graves icons from the Bilgewater event), but I certainly would like to see more icons.

What about an actual achievement system that awards summoner icons. I know at one point they were bouncing the idea around but I stopped playing league and just recently came back.

I haven't heard of anything about it. I know a long time ago they were thinking about adding champion mastery beyond 7 (along with potential rewards like summoner icons), but I think that was scrapped.

I wasn't referring to champ mastery i was referring to s1-s2 on your profile page there was a grayed out achievement box ill look online to see if i can find a picture of it

Oh, Hextech Crafting?

Get an S (+/-, doesn't matter) on a champion you own and you can get a chest. Wins have a random chance of granting key fragments. Combine 3 key fragments into a key, combine key and a chest to get random loot. The loot shards can be either rented or converted into a permanent unlocked content.

There's a few more ins and outs to it, but that's the basics and knowing the name you can search for more.

so i found a picture but it ont let me post search s1 league of legends profile and some of them have an acheivements page greyed out. Also when you would go to change your summoner icon it would say buy with rp or unlock with acheivements.
