Ranked and chat restriction
Wondering how this works because I am currently restricted from both. I deserve the chat restriction not going to try and argue it. I then receive a 35 game ranked restriction. I served the games and started playing ranked again. Played about 3 games won 2 of them and I was not toxic. I actually believe i was honored in 2 of them. I log out for the night and come back on a few days later to see another 35 game restriction. Why am I restricted again?
First off i think the whole report system is beyond broken. Yeah I am toxic once in awhile because i have a strong desire to win, so when i see people intentionally trolling or trying to get a rise out of people on purpose at the cost of the game it irritates me and I likely carry it over to other games. I do not wish cancer on people or wish them to die. I literally will get reported for everything. As a jungle main this becomes even worse. I got reported for verbal abuse for taking a wolf camp(I wasnt the jungle) 25 min into the game and many other things like this.People just spam the verbal abuse report because they know it will automatically restrict you over time. I will not even speak for an entire game but I didn't gank top lane enough so that is why you're 0/10/0 at 8 minutes so make sure to report me for verbal abuse because I didn't gank enough. Now I'm stuck in draft with premade groups who report as a group for everything. I'll get reported for not giving mid lane blue buff or not ganking a certain lane enough. You literally get reported for everything. Now I don't think as of late think I have been being reported much. I usually receive a notice when I am reported. I have received maybe 1 notice in 70+ games. Now that I'm ranked restricted I am really keeping it clean because with the start of the new season I would actually like to play ranked. I am going to finish out the restriction, but honestly if I get another one I'm done with this game for good. As a paying customer i see no reason why Riot cannot put a better system in place than this i report you for everything button and it auto bans you.
I think its ridiculous that Riot wants to make this game some magical pony land with unicorns and rainbows for everyone. In reality it is never going to happen. Most of us at some point in our lives have played sports or have been in some sort of competition. The fact is their is trash talk. People trash talk everywhere no matter what you do in life. Honestly get over it. I understand certain things are way over the top like wishing someone to get cancer or wishing death on them but saying something like "can you stop feeding and just farm from your tower we can win late" gets you reported. I'll get a response like "STFU jungler noob no ganks reported you stupid r%%%%%". It is unrealistic exceptions of you to think you can throw 10 random people together and ask them all to work as a team in a highly competitive game and expect no one to ever trash talk. Some of the stuff I wouldn't even consider trash talk. I mean is this a competitive online game or is this kindergarten again where little Timmy calls John a poopface and he runs to the teacher. You can not even speak in this game without running the risk of being reported.
I think you could get rid of most toxicity by actually making an effort to remove trolls and AFKs. They are the real culprits of toxicity. I understand sometimes things happen with your internet or there are emergencies and you have to leave, but if that were the case then you would not have an afk or troll in half your games. These trolls and AFKs breed toxic players. They piss people off and over time the nice players become angry and they just don't care anymore leading to them eventually becoming toxic or even trolls themselves. I don't believe the numbers on how little AFKs there are or the BS "you must of just got unlucky". If there are as little afks and trolls as you claim Riot then we wouldn't see them in 75% of our games. I know a lot of you will be against me, but I challenge you guys to actually put a little thought into this. Think about your own experiences and if you actually think the report system is fair or not.
