Being a jungle main has now caused to to quit the game. I'm so tired of players who can't take responsibility for their own deaths in their own lane. They die at level 2 and then go "WTF NOOB JUNGLERS REPORT THIS RETARD". This isn't even an exaggeration. This kind of crap happens all the time and it sets how the rest of the game will go even if you just mute them and don't say anything. Even if you take the blame and say something like okay sorry ill gank for you. So you come back a minute or two later and attempt the gank. The laner misses every skillshot completely miss plays but you still get a flash. You know what you get? "LOL LOOK AT THIS RETARD JUNGLER PLZ REPORT NOOB GANKS FUCKING WORST GUY EVER CANT EVEN GET KILL STAY THE FUCK OUT OF MY LANE YOU SALTY SCRUB".

This game has literally gotten to the point where I honestly believe the community is retarded. Had a game earlier today with an urgot who flames me the whole time at champ select. I said highly prefer jungle. Jungle is my best role. His response "fucking noob can only play one role rofl" "someone else pick jungle so this fucking scrub cant have it". lolwhat? So the team doesnt say anything i get jungle and all is good right? NOPE urgot starts flaming again because no one took jungle from me simply because he felt like trolling or whatever his agenda was. So he takes smite and goes "duo jungle new meta". No one says anything..... At the last second he switches back to ignite and goes " Just kidding you fucking noobs". He then goes into the game and feeds. Flames me and the team jumps on the bandwagon and i get reported for being bad.

This game has become so bad because of this community. Everyone acts like a raging hormonal 13 year old(maybe they are). This behavior eventually rubs off on me and then I eventually start to flame to. Why does every single week that goes by seem like the game gets worse and worse? Riot continues to do nothing(big surprise). My theory is all the good/smart players leave the game because they get tired of listening to what i presume is endless flaming from 13 year olds. As more and more smart players leave the game the ratio of bad to good players increases. I don't claim to be the best, but some of these players can't even make sense out of what they say. Like these players who die at level 2 and go "WTF REPORT NOOB JUNGLER NO GANKS". It makes you just want to punch your monitor and scream ITS ONLY MINUTE 3 IN THE WHOLE FUCKING GAME I JUST TOOK MY FIRST BLUE BUFF WTF DO YOU MEAN NO GANKS.

I will be leaving the game now because the community sucks the life out of you and they make the game not enjoyable. I feel like Riot is a huge part of the problem. They claim they want a nice friendly non toxic game but then design things that breed toxicity. For instance they do NOTHING about trolls/afks/int feeders. Does Riot Lyte with all his fancy degrees not understand simple concepts? The trolls,afks/int feeders (whose sole purpose is to piss other players off and ruin the experiance) get free reign over the game and ruin it for people who actually are trying to win and have fun. The trolls,afks, int feeders eventually break nice players and the nice players turn into toxic ones. Riot also drew a lot of attention to this whole report system and tribunal that are next to useless. Now people focus so much on reporting others rather than focusing on the game and trying to win. you died once "reported" make one mistake "reported" ask the suppport to toss a ward down "you're salty reported". Its out on control and lets be real here reporting does nothing.

A friend of mine who quit months ago because of how bad the community is was telling me he was watching nightblue3 and nightblue was walking about how Riot Lyte is an idiot. Nightblue3 was talking about how putting in an in game voice chat would help things and lower the amount of flaming. I strongly agree that an in game voice chat would lower the amount of toxic people. It puts a voice to a name and humanizes the players. Its a lot easier to type and flame someone than to talk actual shit to them. According to nightblue3 Riot Lyte said an in game voice system would increase toxicity by 186% or some random number he pulled out of his ass. How would this increase toxicity Lyte please do explain this very interesting numbers that you pulled from your ass. Lets be real here the real numbers your worried about how much money it would cost riot to implement something like an in game voice chat. Riot would have to pump out a little dough to make it happen. We all know though that Riot would never invest money into something that improves the quality of life in their community. Riot is full of shit and they lie like every company does.

I have been a jungle main since season 3. I have played off meta, on meta, odd meta picks for jungling. I have very rarely heard the jungle crap as mentioned. But honest to god people is it that hard to just fucking ignore them?

BOOOOM. It's like suddenly they are raging at a wall, and realize you don't care and then they shut up too.

A lot of people feel they just have to hear what they are going to say next, a lot of people feel like they need to explain or talk back. No, No you do not have to do anything, you mute them and it's all over, you don't argue with them or attempt to explain to them why you haven't ganked or anything. You have no reason too other then to make things worse, which I fully know a lot of jungle mains like to do, they like to respond to this crap instead of muting and forgetting.

I didn't even read this and I already feel dude's pain.

Even after the nerfs the re-vamped jungle doesn't allow junglers to do what they're traditionally expected to do.

I used to be able to clear for a bit, gank a lane, then recall. That way I'm controlling buffs, stopping snowballs, and making sure I will be effective late game. Right now I can either

A) Clear 3 camps and buy

or

B) Help my team and fall behind

This game has existed long enough to have accepted expectations at each role. Junglers should be able to take both of those options assuming they outplay the enemy jungler. Now it's more based on build paths and champ selection.

I get it... Jungler's job is objective control and preventing enemy jungler ganks. The problem is right now very few junglers can do both, which is essential to the role.

Either a jungler can insta gank an enemy lane, they can control dragon, or they can be lee sin.

All in all I feel like no matter what decisions I make I'm not able to fulfill my role in a team, and no matter what I decide to do I will fall short of what my team needs me for.

Riot really just needs to remove ranked soloq entirely. It makes 0 sense for it to exist in a game in which teamwork is so important. Five complete strangers are thrown together for the first time with less than five minutes to prepare for the game. Why is anyone surprised when team efforts fall apart?

Would you join a competitive basketball league where you had to play with four strangers every game?

I'm a jungle main, but I feel voice chat would just make flaming worse. Cod's voicechat is infamous for a reason.

Please, do not add a voice chat. I don't want people yelling at me if I won't use the voice chat, or the same people you are describing right now swearing their heads off in my ears, or be so concentrated on what five different people are saying to even notice the game. Plus, adding voice chat will greatly increase lag issues to anyone who has them.

I think the biggest issue with most flamers is they think they are good and they refuse to take responsibility for their own actions or try to help the game. It's easier to yell at others and distract the team from your own failures than owning them.

The jungler (and support) tend to be the easiest victims.

Sorry for your negative experiences. But honestly, you're not the only one. The quickest and easiest way is to just mute them, play the game (and hopefully carry). If you're still around, you should try it. The game becomes way more peaceful when you're not arguing with clueless players.

idk if voice chat will really solve anything to be honest just look at a number of online games like cod, halo, gmod, counterstrike, and etc the question is really is if there is a competitive atmosphere is what makes it how it is. adding a voice chat wont solve anything if anything might attribute to more. i dont like what the game has become either but i dont think the way to solve it really is through voice chat. maybe something alone the lines of a mod or something to overlook games but than yet again that might be problematic with 1. not having enough ppl for a job like this and 2.the time and effort it takes.

Maybe you should follow the honorable players still left. Raises an eyebrow* seriously, you mentioned Nightfuck. I've heard and seen so much shit surrounding this idiot... But you're right... A voice chat would put a voice to the toxicity.

But if you've played any FPS/RTS before there's tons of toxic voice chatters.

I've been 4 muting my teamates and had all chat off since season 2 ended.

It's time you learn to ignore others. Only play with friends you have in real life or your girlfriend or boyfriend or parents if they're not conservative assholes like mine who think any video game and anything involving video games is a waste of time.

I have experienced similar results being a mid silver jg (S2-S4). There is nothing more annoying than having three lanes that all push to tower, don't ward and get ganked over and over. I recognize the importance of counter ganks but when its all three lanes its a bit of a guess as to where the enemy jg is going to go. I have had several games where all three lanes have died before I got to my third camp... I have no problem trying to help a lane that is behind but I will not gank if your health is low and your opponent is near full... If I can't see the enemy jg I have to assume there is a possibility of a 2v2 which we will very likely lose. At silver elo it is all about blaming whoever else you can.. The funniest part of silver elo is everyone seems to think they are LCS material, the only reason they aren't challenger is "bad teams" haha.

You know what solves this toxicity wonderfully? In-game communities like clans/guilds ect that people get to know one another. Why riot doesn't implement such a thing is beyond my comprehension.

One thing I like to do, is add a lot of people I play with/against, that does well. I have a large friend list, so every time I play, I like to invite someone from my friends list that I know can hold there own, because I have seen the do it. It makes jungling much easier for me because I can worry about at least one lane a little bit less, and know they will not flame on me. This makes the game that much easier and allows me to snowball other lanes, which means less people constantly flaming at me.

You shouldn't let other people make you quit. When they complain just mute them an play your game or call them out on their own failure an tell them to stop feeding this game isn't a buffet. If you enjoy jungling then keep at it, play with people you rely on that doesn't feed an can hold their own grant it everyone is going to have a bad game here and there. If you don't have friends that you know that play, if you run across a decent player on your team or the enemy team add them an play some rounds with them. I do that a lot as a support main.

OP has a problem. If he mutes them as soon as they open their mouth to him why does he have a problem with the rest of the game? Why would he gank for someone that cursed him anyway.

I know it seems like a simple solution, but mute them. Allies, enemies talking shit. Muting them solves the problem. Those types of people aren't going to positively communicate to the team, then they don't get to say anything at all.

I agree with your points in general but there's no need to be so aggressive to Lyte. The only reason you think the number you listed is "pulled out of his ass" is because you've not actually done any research into where he got it from. And attacking people based on ignorance isn't much smarter than the Urgot you just talked about.

I remember a lot of this from pre-30s and silver. Probably the funniest was when I was ganking for some 0/3 mid, we blow the enemy's flash and nearly kill him and then the mid laner tower dives for no reason and the enemy jungler comes up with just autos her once for a free kill.
