Smurfs this season

Is it just be or does there seem to be a lot of smurfs right now? It's like every game I am in there are multiple smurfs across both teams. I actually just played a game where we got routed because of 3 smurfs boosting someone via dynamic queue. One challenger and one D4. I'm not sure what rank the 3rd guy was I didn't talk to him. We did have a DC, but the game was pretty much over at the 8 min mark. The enemy team knew we were going to surrender so I was just chatting with them in all chat. After the game 2 of them added me which is when I found out all of this. The game before that I had a smurf ADC on my team. Not sure what ELO he was but he had like 30 kills and 500 CS at the end of the game. Really the games aren't fun at all.
