Its better on jungle (its why you saw pro player teams at big championships have sightstone on both jungle and support, unless the jungle really needed the item slot. Although idk why riot doesn't let players who buy sightstone have 5 wards out and others can upgrade their trinket that lets them carry two wards (you can place both). it would encourage the entire team to place wards instead of just one person. Also i think blue trinket really needs to have a lower CD and maybe something else on it too to make it worth (even if it was just granting assists for using it, i also think the same with CV).

Everyone should ward, I agree. But support needs to ward. If you're going to say another role, at least say jungler to make your argument credible.

Thats bs. Just because supports buying sightstones, it doesnt mean that they MUST ward. Consider that there is a ward limit of 3 wards on the map for 1 person, wich makes warding for a support really hard because they have to replace their wards all the time. I usually play support and i have to ping my adc to ward the bush against ganks, while he is farming. It seems like that people dont consider that supports also run out of wards and can't always give the support the fault if there isnt enough wards on the map

Where in my comment did you think I said others don't need to ward? Lol, you also just said that supports buy sightstone, but that doesn't mean they have to ward. So are you spending 800g for that 150 health if you're not warding?

Autolocking is as close to assisting the enemy team as getting countered. You. Know what would be alot closer to assisting event team. ... surrendering.

How? You pick a champ and then the other team can use their skills to counter you. That is the other team making a play, not you assisting them. Not to mention, if you are going to pick a role when the other team hasn't picked that role yet, I hope you have enough intelligence to pick a champ that you are good with. Anyway, autolocking when your team already has that role selected is putting your team at a clear disadvantage, therefore, assisting the enemy. We all know this type of player isn't going to get into a game and help out either, since they trolled champ select.

There is nothing in the rules that states any player has to play by the meta. If you go mid and i want to go mid too..... it's not breaking any rules for me to do so. What if I state that I'm going mid and you select a mid first? Is that not the same "assisting enemy team" as autolocking? We already had a mid... you just locked first. Long story short. Pick order is not the law, it's noob.

How can you tell what role they are taking with every champion for sure?

There are plenty of times when I have to ask a silent teammate whether they want to jungle or top, or mid or support, etc. with the champ they have picked.

Correct. But when I say, I'm going mid and the last pick says well I don't want to support, so I'm going mid too, they should be banned from playing for a minimum of two weeks if in ranked matches.

There would be no way to automate this, so you'd have to add in another report option (which currently means playing through the game anyway).

Trying to automate this would just ban whoever was slower when everyone calls mid at the same time...

We don't get to pick roles, we pick champs and it is between our team's communication to determine where we're going with those champs.

no no emoto, supports MUST ward. That's a pivotal part of their job, they have the sightstone they are supposed to ward.

But that doesn't mean other players shouldn't contribute. You're absolutely right about that, a support can't ward the map - but it absolutely is the support's responsibility to ward.

(This is speaking as a support main 2 seasons running btw)
