Lag but no visible connection issues

I have played this game forever and seen my fair share of lag in the past but this is the weirdest. My ping usually stays the same, and I say usually because there have been times where I do visually lag but that might just be Comcast, but despite ping not rising and no lag being on other devices, I still notice lag in league. Sometimes I will hit minions or champions and it might take a couple seconds for it to register, sometimes it will freeze for a second and then continue with no problems. However, one of the most annoying problems I have had is that I will get lag in champ select for ranked games and it is causing me to lose LP before I even get into a game. For example, I have had it get into the lobby for selecting champions, bans will go by just fine, but the second someone picks a champ it might just stop, and by stop I mean that will be the last action to happen and I will just sit there staring at a screen where I can type and scroll over champs but nothing actually happens. Obviously the only option at that point is to leave and that loses my LP, which really isn't fair. Also, what just happened to me and happens a lot, I will be waiting for my turn to choose a champ and when I finally get to I will look at what I want to play for a couple seconds and with more than 10-15 seconds remaining on the timer I will get kicked out of the game for not picking. So apparently that's me getting delayed and losing some 10 seconds of choosing a champ, which has lost me several points. I don't know what I can do to fix this, if it does have something to do with Comcast then please tell me, but it is costing me a lot and is very annoying. Sorry for the wall of text.
