How did the Champion Designers come to be?

I am really curious on how Champion designers got their jobs as such, did they go to school to be "Champion Designers?" Do they have a different Career title? I am legitimately curious and want to know this, any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much.

Not sure about them specifically for LoL, but game designers or fantasy artwork. Most people like that are born with it. :)

Start with cartoon drawings so you get the 3d down, then add muscles and hands.
