No hes not. Hes pretty damn funny, but deserved ban. Was just stating the difference between an out burst every once and a while and constantly putting your team down every game.

Last time I told one of my team mate to die, he ran into a turret and got executed, we all applause him for a good play.

Well you have to make sure you say it like towards the champion and not the person every time Somone tells me to hang myself kill myself shoot myself I screen capture it and send it to riot by email because I know I'm not Gann kill myself but people out there kill themselves from stuff as stupid as that

I think its more about people who know someone that killed themselves rather than a concern someone might kill themselves because someone told them too.

That makes more sense, that someone might be hurt because they know someone who's committed suicide. It's still pretty pathetic to expect people to cater to your emotional sensitivities.

I've tried, and hearing people tell me to kill myself often on here only makes me reply, 'Not for lack of trying'.

Maybe someone is on the edge of killing himself already and you are the one that pushes him to kill himself.

That's also the reason I NEVER, no matter the reason, wish others to die, because I don't want to be the reason someone killed himself.

5 day bans aren't a thing only 7, 14 and perm, though Ive never actually heard of anyone getting a 7 day ban. It didn't happen today, the video was just uploaded today.

That said im pretty sure any duration ban is considered a more severe punishment than any chat restriction anyway.

Was that recently? The tribunal used to give out a variety of different bans, but that was over a year ago.

Are you sure that you were banned for only 3 days and didn't take a break and find out about your 14 day ban on day 11 or something like that? Or have an email saying you got banned for 3 days?

Sorry if it seems like im prying. I find the the player behavior team's work very interesting and I spend a lot of time reading and discussing this stuff and I haven't heard of a ban duration other than 14 days or permanent since the tribunal was taken down. Recently Lyte started mentioning 7 day bans but I haven't actually seen anyone that got one yet.

Honestly I can't even remember the last time I've seen an actual ban outside of some extreme cases. You hear all about the silly chat restriction that accomplish nothing, but Riot seems ridiculously against Banning with way worse cases or even equally as bad.

Tell someone to die, you might get a 20 game chat restriction. 2 years ago, you do that and bam, temp ban.

Which is why it is hilarious that people are complaining just now (recently/this year) about it when it was actually worse in the past, especially during the tribunal days where the community took part in the judgement process.

People get banned all the time, if you aren't seeing it then you aren't looking. I hate chat restrictions because I feel like I am punished by being matched with people who are chat restricted. BUT I understand the use of them over bans where they can since accounts are free. Banned players just make a new account. So bans are often ineffective.

Any kind of threat, telling people to die or commit suicide are treated very harshly.

I donno how you can say that about the tribunal though. Theres no 1 thing you could do to get banned because you it took massive amounts of reports and reported games to even end up in the tribunal. Massive report volume was the primary method used to reduce false positives.

Not really sure what you think is worse now than it was with the tribunal. I would say the current systems are better in the tribunal was in every way except maybe how people feel about it. People just dislike that they are actually becoming effective at catching people. That said, when they combine all they have done since the tribunal has been down with the new tribunal I think it will be even better. Though I'm still not sure what purpose voting will really serve since the current system seems to be judging cases just fine. It will definitely help a little with non chat infractions though.

Chat restrictions are getting reset in 5.18 for the new system that should work better and not do that.

i actually paid them off in February.

i also should've put this in the op, but dunkey said he never got anything from riot after all these years of making videos of him trolling, but what he got was an inconceivable amount of leniency. no normal player could say stuff like him and not get permabanned 10 times over.
