Yes, be out in the open where you can be shot at by the ADC and take gratuitous damage instead of the bush, where you can set up an attack better, protect yourself from gratuitous harass, and force your opponent to burn a ward in order to see you, making them more vulnerable to ganks.
Good idea, you're going to climb all the way to Bronze IV with that attitude.

Doofus, I went from Bronze 3 to Silver 5 in 3 weeks playing Blitzcrank support and I hid in bushes!
