Why do people refuse to let me carry them?
Recently, I played a match as Zed. I died first in lane, and then got myself fed off of the enemy team (my lane, the jungler and roaming). It was going very good for our team; bot lane had won their lane, not hard, but our bot could probably win against the other team's bot. Our top kind of fed the enemy top, but he didn't do too bad. Our jungler did his thing, and helped the other lanes (I think...).
By 25-ish minutes in, I was more or less able to 1v2 or possibly 1v3, so logically, I went top to split push. And then my team promptly engages the other team full on, and all die in a 2-4. So I ask them not to fight and to let me split. They decide that I'm trying to be an asshole or just am arrogant and insist I go mid. I ignore them the first time, as I'm able to bring the other team to me and kill one (and live).
So I repeat and go top again and this time, I draw 3 people up. I die, because I was at the inhib turret (my bad...), and I ask my team to push when I do it again, only this time, they start saying how I want to drag out the game and not do anything, just CS. So I'm like screw this, it's not worth fighting and I group. Now, I'm so far ahead, I could possibly 1v2 or 1v3 (as I said). But yet we're just sitting there clearing wave after wave (which, ironically, is what they were saying not to do).
So I go back top, thinking they're not going to fight (they're a bit bitter I think and aren't talking at all). So I go back top, and they all die. Fortunately, the other team can't end on us, and it's more or less a meaningless fight. Then, people start running off into the jungle (I thought we were supposed to group?!?) and getting caught. The other team goes to do baron, and all but one player is still alive (on the other team). The minions are doing work on the enemy base (Winions!), so they can't do anything.
Now, I'm sitting in mid this whole time, waiting for my team to engage (the other team is behind and they know it), but it never happened. They kept getting caught in the jungle, and slowly, the other team got ahead of us (at one point, we had only our outter top turret down and we had their inner mid, inner top and outter bot down...)
More or less a rant, but can someone explain why people will not listen even when the player who is doing the most (it's a fact, I was...) is telling them?
