Suggestion: Giving players a chance to improve

Before I start, I want to say this is not a complaint, anger, or anything. I have no problem with my rank, but think this would be a system in season 5 that will give lower ranked players a chance to improve their rank.

Now, having been stuck in bronze 5 (I am silver 3 now) for almost the entire season, I know what some players feel about the ranked system. Even though you feel you belong in a higher rank, you are stuck where you are. (Believe me when I say getting out of bronze 5 was completely horrible, it had to have taken almost 300 games)

So when I finally made it to silver, I made it my goal to try and help my friend get to silver. My friend is 100% better than me, always getting pretty fed in a match. However, he is still stuck in bronze, unable to move because not many people down there are too impressive. I thought up a system Riot can implement in Season 5 that may give players a chance to improve their rank, and aim for their Season 5 goals.

When the season starts, you do your 10 initial "qualifying" games. Here's the catch - Depending on how you perform, your rank will improve. Lets say I was in silver 5. If I did really good, I would move up a few divisions. If I performed poorly, I would stay in Silver 5. Basically, it's giving players a chance without demoting them if they mess up. When season 3 ended and season 4 started, I won 8/10 of my games, but I went from bronze 5 to bronze 4. Meanwhile my friend who was in silver won 6 of his 10 games, and went to gold.

So, I feel that this new early season system will benefit and help players who deserve to be higher than where they are. Thanks for reading it, and post your opinions below :)
