Why the hell does Darius have a heal?

Finally somebody who agrees with me. Darius is not a mage, or a healer, so he should not have a heal. Give him temporary damage reduction, that fits his theme, give him a shield, that fits his theme, give him bonus damage, that fits his theme. But healing, no.

it was added because prior Darius had a really hard time sustain in lane and i think the reward for hitting on the edge was not grand enough.
theme is kind of a moot point at the moment as his lore need revamping maybe it might add how his ax kills his enemy and the blood flows back to it's user and heals them.

shit tons of damage should be grand enough.

Also nowhere in his kit does he feel vampire except that random tacked on point.

the problem was Darius didn't do a lot of damage before in the late game so he scaled off quite badly, also for him to do maximum damage he must jump into the middle of the team in the late game if you try now that you can actually live and do more stable out put.

other champs have heals in there kits that might not fit theme right now Yorick Trundle Warwick my point was that you can use theme for someone with an old lore as an excuse

But Darius 's rework is as new as fiora's, you know, the champ that targets weak spots to fit her theme. so... yeah

Those champions literally FEED of their prey. Yorick is a necromancer, drains life. TRundle gets the eat up the dead (like cho gat), WW chunks and eat the flesh.

Darius has a heal because... herm.. he drinks the blood like renekton? Riot jammed it in because they thought he needed some sustain. Even if doesn't make any sense.
