Friendly Tip: Check the Notification Icon and Don't be in a Match When it Says Patching Will Begin

There will be a notification icon on the top of your client which will say when Ranked Queue will be closed in preparation for the patch, and when the patch begins.

To be sure your games are not affected, make sure to cross check the time with your timezone, because once it starts you'll be kicked out of your game.

Last Monday at 2:38 PM RiotWulalowe — On 06/24/2015, starting at 01:30 PDT, ranked queues will be disabled in preparation for patch 5.12. At 03:00 PDT, the servers will be shut down and all games currently in progress will end in a draw and stats will not be recorded. We estimate the battlegrounds will be unavailable for 6 hours.
