@Riot Ranked still can't be played without somebody being toxic and getting away with it

**NOTE: I know I sound butthurt, but I can't stand people just having to deal with this anymore. I've been on both sides of the spectrum, and I'm tired of nothing happening. ** I can't do it anymore. I can't tolerate the waves of toxicity and people who live just to kill other people on the internet. I just had a game with two of them, and was there much I could do about it? I could mute them, yeah, but then I wouldn't know if they're lying to the other team about me, not to mention they're still free to harass more people. What are the problems right now, then?

  1. There's no built in camera in League's interface to take pictures of your screen/chat history, please make this a thing

  2. Reporting is, and will probably still be, useless for a long time until they're looked more frequently.

  3. If I'm correct, you can still queue with people you've already blocked because of matchmaking manipulation. Let me ask this: Does not being able to play with blocked people have to seriously extend to high-high elo? Just put it in bronze/silver/gold/maybe plat, there's enough people to fix the issue without severe delay on queue time.

I don't know what to do to get these people punished. Does reporting work now? Do I email support? What's the status of the Tribunal? Last I heard it was making progress with automatic filtering, but we need real people to be looking too. I don't know what the status is, so if someone can tell me/link me I'll be thankful, but I've blocked two people today, I'm on tilt now, and I'm just sad. Have a good day to whoever's reading this.

The problem you have is that you are silver 5, which is right near where new players enter ranked. It's not that people don't get punished for it, because they are. It's that your rank is where they all have to commit their first offenses to be punished.

I'm fairly certain league punishes ragers significantly more than any other game in history.

Then that's a problem with the new player experience. I'm silver 5, yeah, I'm not gonna deny it. But even if I'm silver 5, this shouldn't be happening. This is where, like you said, the first offenses happen, and probably the most. But then again, shouldn't there be a way to filter out some of them before they make it to their selected ELO? Promos. You can always report in promos, always block someone in promos. But if they're doing promos, then they'll probably just keep going and end up in a random elo, probably just to scream "ELO Hell" and start getting toxic because they think they're better than that. Promos COULD be removed by letting everyone start at Bronze 5, and then putting a huge amount of focus on bronze instead of a big 33/33/33 between all of Bronze/Silver/Gold. It wouldn't be 98/1/1, just 40/35/25, for example. It's just an idea, but what if that happened?

The problem with starting everyone at the bottom is that the game will be completely unplayable for people who belong at the bottom. They would be overwhelmingly outnumbered by people who are better than them. And with smurfs existence, it would never end.

Low silver is significantly more populated so even though its still much worse than other ranks in this regard but its at least spread out as much as possible.

I agree its a problem, but I have no idea what the solution is. Its also the most likely area to have mismatched games because people haven't played enough games to move up or down to where they belong. Which probably also contributes to the raging.

It's a mess, but what can I do, the thread is being downvoted for no reason other than people just looking at it like another complaint thread, so there goes trying to communicate with the public. I just want stuff to get done, and unless one of these threads actually gets through it'll never happen.

also people getaway easily with trolling/feeding intentionally. i get feeders that feed intentionally a lot and last time i checked, not a single one was banned once (i have an op.gg blacklist with 14 names that i check weekly) and it is filled with toxic players, trolls, intentional feeders etc. i wasnt the only one that reported them and theyve done it multiple times. its annoying pls fix

Yeah, feeding/trolling is also a big problem, but it all comes down to toxicity in general, really.

What makes you think reporting them does nothing? Dont get me wrong i hate feeders, afk, toxic people in my games. But if its just a one time thing, or rarely happens to one player i dont think they should be perma ban from the game just for one game! You have to remember the feeder in all your games are different people. its not the same person over and over again! Not only that but by that logic every single person would have been ban since im sure there have been times when we were all toxic, or fed in our games!

Despite us not having something in game to take screenshots you can do it on the computer! take an SS and if it was that bad by all means contact support so they can look into it. that is what they are there for! You dont want toxic people in your game, but you are too lazy to do something about it! Like i said reporting does help. they just need to be consistent! if its one game do you honestly feel they should have their account taken? Your 3rd point is way too abusive. So what would happen if you blacklisted/blocked every single person in your division? youll be left with either people lower than you (which wouldnt rank you up as much) or people higher than you (which assuming it will also put you into teammates higher than you) will be completely unfair!

All in all the only thing you need to do is report people who break the Summoners code/ToS! if you feel like nothing is being done and you have evidence to back you up contact support. You have to remember this game is the most popular online game. with millions of players. im sure they need to look at thousands of cases of people being reported. Do you honestly think something like that could be done so quickly?

You really seem to give Riot too much credit for something they don't have. While yes, they do have millions of players, their response to reports is utterly slow if not atrocious, I can't see a single person on my block list that's ever been punished even despite their toxicity. Riot Support is possibly a solution, but I shouldn't be asking Support about toxic players when there's a report button **meant **to do the job right. I won't try and argue my point more, I'm just simply going to say you're making their punishment system sound a lot better than it has been in years.

Except for that fact that i have played Rank. I just havent played rank this season, and its mainly because of toxic behavior! Even with that not playing rank shouldnt make my opinion on the matter any less than anyone else. There are toxic behavior in all types of games mode! I dont fee like i give Riot too much credit. Just the fact that they are probably understaff to help the millions of players you obviously cannot help everyone especially with how they want to be helped!

Plus they have stated numerous times if someone is being toxic and you feel like that person isnt getting punished and you have proof you should always contact support. it doesnt matter that there is a report button, they are also there to help in any means! I do agree that the system itself needs some improvement, but sadly thats just wishful thinking! things like this need time, money, and effort to be place. and im sure with all the money they blow with E-sports rarely anything gets done on things that "need" to be done!

Maybe you are quick too judge people based on a singular, 20-60 minute experience with them? Just because you fell like someone is intentionally feeding or trolling, doesn't mean they actually are. I see lots of people who make bad choices, misread a situation, click the wrong thing, get caught by a pixel, etc, but rarely do I see someone going out of their way to ruin a game. Generally the people who cry Troll in a majority of their games are bringing it upon themselves somehow.

I would rather Riot make sure they don't punish people who don't deserve it and let a few bad people slip through the cracks than to just punish a ton of people and let the innocent ones appeal if they are punished incorrectly.
