How do people even climb?

Seriously?

Getting 20 LP per win (which happens once a blue moon) to lose the same amount (or close enough). It's going back and forth with no progresss. How are people supposed to leave a division when it's like this? Some of us don't have the luxury of having friends that can carry them and we do our damn hardest but nothing changes and I don't care about MMR when I lose more games than I win because match-making seems very unbalanced.

Like, just explain to me how is someone going to climb when it's a constant mix of:

a) people in the team feed or don't know how to play the game b) you lose the same amount of LP you gain so, unless you go on a winning streak you're stuck c) people can just make smurf accounts which ruins the balance and fairness of the game

It's so demotivating and it genuinely makes this game seem like it's just catering towards professional players or people who have friends who smurf when it should be much more balanced than the way it is.
