With the new trend of tops taking jungle camps early
For note I am both a top and jungle main so I get to come at this from both sides
First off as jungler: Top laner please take the camp that I tell you too (or atleast take one of the two smaller camps in the opposite jungle), If I am in the red jungle side, dont insist on taking raptors, go take gromp or wolves. It causes unnecessary running and because you are causing me to run across the lane you make me waste at the least 20 seconds, yes 20 seconds (although im pretty sure usually its more around 25 or 30) total because you were a jerk and took the camp you wanted. Those 20 seconds as a jungler are crucial. Respect me so I can be the most effective jungler I can be. Plus you taking the camp you want and not listening to me just makes every realize you are a tool from the get go (even if you arent a tool)
As a top laner: Jungler when I decide to take a camp in the opposite jungle of yours (if you are starting red and I take a small camp from blue side) dont get upset. Ive played jungle enough to know by the time you make it over to blue side the camp will be back up and at a higher level so you actually get more experience. Im probably doing it because,
- im running smite teleport and it gives me an advantage with the buff,
or 2) my lane opponent will wreck me early and so I appreciate the instant level 2 before getting to lane.
Im not trying to keep you down, you are a team mate and one that can help me win my lane. However you will not be everywhere in your jungle at once and I can take gromp or the krugs from time to time when you are busy ganking. They respawn fast enough for you to not miss them too much. Being a top laner I have noticed how often gromp and krugs get left alone to the point where they have been sitting around for more then 10 minutes without being touched.
