what if you could make a wish list in your profile or in the store of the skins and champions you want, and your friends can see it on the gifting screen and/or your profile. That way people would have a better idea of what to get someone instead of just going blind.
This would be awesome, especially for friends that play league but you don't know what to get them for their birthday.
I had the same idea, but here's my spinoff: The player's don't like to give huge gifts, so why not allow to give away 25, 15, or as little as 1 RP. So every player can choose one wish and it could be shown with an RP bar. At the end of the game, it's visible how much the summoner have already collected, and how much RP are left in order to fulfill the wish. The RP won't transfer directly to the account, just when the bar fills, the wish come true :)
I really like this idea, actually. I wouldn't use it for gifting likely, but for myself as I'm very forgetful. More than once I've purchased RP for one thing only to remember afterwards "Oh poop, I was going to buy X the next time I had RP".

I've been asking for this for nearly as long as I've been playing (that'd be almost 2 years now). Riot please, I hate asking people what they want gifted to them. :(
